There's a small mouse jumping from my blanket. And looks at me, telling that I should stand up and do my daily house chores already. Yea, I'm still dreaming, I told myself. Still sleepy. So hesitant to even lift a finger.
But the thought of work piling as hours pass by stirred me up. I HAVE to get up. Reluctant, I stood up, went downstairs, brushed my teeth and, with eyes unwilling to open up, I sat in front of the computer. A friend request. I wonder who's it from. *checks.mutual.friends* Teppie is one of our mutual friends. *clicks.Confirm.button*
And then I met Redg.
He left a note on my wall, saying 'tnx!' for the friend request approval most prolly. Only when Teppie posted a comment did I become aware that they work for the same company. I checked Redg's profile and lo-and-behold, I was awed by his talent! He is SO good in drawing. The feeling that you wanna draw more and be much better than your present self, the feeling of inspiration; I'm pretty much sure that you know what I mean, that feeling engulfed me. I was overwhelmed by his talent. Then he introduced me to DeviantART. He told me that this is a haven for artists of all kinds. And he was right. I checked it, made an account, posted two drawings, then read and looked at stuffs. It's so fun to know that a lot of people appreciate art. People who share the same interest as mine. I strongly believe that I would learn a lot from here. I have no professional studies when it comes to drawing, but I sure hope that with people's feedbacks, I would pick some ideas to further train myself. I am really looking forward to things left unlearned.
This is a sanctuary for artists. It's an honor to be part of this.
